Why the name matters

We call it performance engineering for a reason.

Loading software into an ECU is the easy part. Developing a calibration that delivers strong, clean and predictable performance across different vehicles and operating conditions is the real work.

Boostech Namibia is not working in isolation. We draw on a group that tunes hundreds of vehicles every month across multiple countries. That continuous flow of application experience keeps development current and gives us a far broader technical foundation than any one workshop could build alone.

Vehicle performance lookup

See what a remap can do.

Select your vehicle to view indicative standard and tuned performance figures. If your exact model is not listed, send us the details—we work with a far wider range of ECUs and applications than any single database can show.

Figures are indicative and may differ from the final Boostech calibration. Actual results depend on the ECU version, vehicle condition, fuel quality, installed hardware and intended use. We confirm what is realistic before proceeding.

The Boostech difference

Development that never stands still.

01

Network-scale development

Boostech branches tune hundreds of vehicles every month. That volume creates broad, current experience across engines, ECUs, software versions, gearboxes and real operating conditions.

02

Shared real-world knowledge

One branch does not need to rediscover what the wider group has already learned. Application experience and development knowledge are shared across the Boostech network.

03

Vehicle-specific calibration

The engine, ECU version, gearbox, hardware, condition and intended use all matter. The correct solution is selected and adapted for the actual vehicle—not treated as a universal file.

04

Reliability before headlines

We focus on controlled torque delivery, clean combustion, sensible temperatures and long-term drivability rather than chasing the largest possible dyno number.

Group-scale experience

Hundreds

of vehicles.
Every month.

Every vehicle adds to a much larger body of experience: different software revisions, model-year changes, engine and gearbox combinations, climate, fuel quality, towing, load and customer expectations.

This scale helps the Boostech group identify patterns earlier, refine solutions continuously and support branches with development that has already been proven across far more than a handful of local vehicles.

One network. Shared development. Better answers.

Mobile tuning across Namibia

Professional ECU tuning, where you need it.

Boostech Namibia brings sophisticated ECU programming and diagnostic equipment directly to your vehicle—at your home, business, workshop, farm or fleet yard.

Mobile service is not a compromise. It is a deliberate part of how we work. Real performance is measured on the road, under load and in the conditions where the vehicle is actually used. That is where drivability, torque delivery and the quality of the calibration become obvious.

Proven where it matters

Nearly 70,000 km. Stage 2 from day one.

Armand Basson is one of Namibia's most experienced off-road drivers. He goes where few others go, frequently carrying heavy loads through demanding and remote terrain.

His 2.8 automatic has run a Boostech Stage 2 calibration, gearbox adaptation and straight-pipe setup since day one. After nearly 70,000 km in just over a year, it has not missed a beat. This is exactly why we engineer for usable torque, drivability and durability—not a headline number on a screen.

A wider technical network

If it has an ECU, chances are we have worked with it.

Our experience extends well beyond ordinary passenger vehicles. When an application can be remapped, there is a strong chance the Boostech group has already encountered it. When something genuinely unusual needs more research, we can call on trusted development partners around the world.

We do not claim to know everything. We do know where to find the right information when we need it.

Calibration as a complete system

Power is only one part of the result.

A professional calibration coordinates the areas that determine how the engine produces torque, protects itself and works with the rest of the vehicle.

01

Driver request

Throttle response and torque demand shaped for predictable control.

02

Air system

Boost request and control coordinated with the engine's usable operating range.

03

Fuel delivery

Fuelling calibrated for clean, efficient combustion—not unnecessary smoke.

04

Torque model

Engine output managed coherently so protection strategies and gearbox behaviour make sense.

05

Engine protection

Temperature, pressure and component limits remain part of the calibration strategy.

06

Transmission

Torque delivery and gearbox behaviour are coordinated where the application allows it.

How we work

The vehicle comes before the file.

  1. 01

    Understand the job

We confirm the exact vehicle, engine, gearbox, modifications, condition and what you want to improve.

  2. 02

    Read and identify

The ECU and software version are identified correctly, and the original software is retained where the process allows it.

  3. 03

    Calibrate for the application

The correct Boostech development is matched to the vehicle and adapted for daily driving, towing, economy or the installed hardware.

  4. 04

    Verify and support

We test the result, explain what changed and remain available if the vehicle needs a future update or return to standard.

ECU remapping FAQ

The questions that matter.

01Is a Boostech remap a generic file?+

No. The correct development is selected for the exact engine, ECU and software version, then matched to the vehicle, transmission, hardware and intended use. Existing modifications and mechanical condition are considered before we proceed.

02Why does the size of the Boostech network matter?+

A network tuning hundreds of vehicles each month sees far more software versions, operating conditions and application-specific behaviour than an isolated tuner. That wider experience supports faster development, better problem-solving and more mature calibration choices.

03Is the highest power figure always the best tune?+

No. A peak number does not show how torque arrives, how cleanly the engine runs, how the gearbox reacts or how the vehicle behaves under sustained load. We prioritise a strong, usable and repeatable result over a single impressive number.

04Do you retain the original software?+

Yes. The original read is retained wherever the ECU process allows it, so the vehicle can normally be returned to its original calibration later if required.

05Can an existing mechanical problem be fixed with a remap?+

No. Software should not be used to hide boost leaks, injector faults, turbo wear, gearbox slip, overheating or warning lights. We assess the vehicle first and will recommend mechanical diagnosis when that is the correct next step.

06Can the calibration be written for towing or economy?+

Yes. The same vehicle may need a different torque shape for daily driving, heavy towing, touring or fleet work. We discuss how the vehicle is used and choose the appropriate target rather than automatically installing the most aggressive option.
