01What does a performance exhaust change?+
A correctly sized system reduces unnecessary restriction and backpressure. On a turbo-diesel, the most noticeable benefits are normally sharper turbo response, stronger low-down behaviour, improved exhaust-gas flow and a deeper exhaust note—not an unrealistic stand-alone power claim.
02Do I need an ECU remap with the exhaust?+
The exhaust can be fitted on its own, but the best result comes from calibration written specifically for the freer-flowing system. That allows us to make proper use of the improved flow and coordinate torque, boost and fuelling safely.
03Will it be excessively loud?+
Not necessarily. The final sound depends on the vehicle, pipe diameter, silencer configuration and whether a downpipe is included. Tell us whether you want refined, sporty or more aggressive and we will recommend the suitable option.
04Can Boostech supply and fit the system?+
Yes. We supply systems countrywide and arrange fitment through Boostech in Swakopmund and our Windhoek support network. Availability and the correct configuration are confirmed against your exact vehicle before ordering.
