What can a passenger-car remap improve?
The objective depends on the vehicle and the way you use it. A sensible calibration can improve throttle response, low- and mid-range torque, overtaking performance and overall drivability. Turbocharged petrol and diesel engines usually offer the most noticeable gains, although selected naturally aspirated vehicles may also have useful calibration options.

The badge is only the starting point.“It's a BMW” or “it's an Audi” is not enough information. The model year, engine, ECU, software version and vehicle condition determine what can actually be done.
Does every model support the same options?
No. Even two visually identical vehicles can use different control units or software. Some newer ECUs are locked, some require bench access or an unlock procedure, and certain engines or gearboxes need additional checks before tuning. Available functions also change as professional tool manufacturers release new protocols.
That is why we confirm compatibility against the exact vehicle instead of making a blanket promise based only on the manufacturer.
What should you send us?
To answer quickly and accurately, send the make, exact model, model year, engine size, fuel type and current power output if known. A clear photo of the licence disc or VIN is often the fastest way to avoid confusion between similar versions.
